11 years old, Chihuahua, spayed and microchipped
TEQUILA is now looking for her forever home.
Please see photo 4.
She arrived with a very large lump which on presentation to the vets felt like and was assumed to be a tumour with another small lump on one of her other teats so plan was to remove both and send off for analysis and if need be do a mammary strip and spay at the same time. However, once Tequila was under anaesthesia and opened up her insides almost fell out - the lump turned out to be a large hernia which had attached itself to her bladder and uterus, the likes of which the vet in all his years had never ever seen before. The hernia was removed, all her bits put back inside and Tequila was spayed. She must have been in so much pain bless her.
She is still a bit bruised and sore but she is so much happier and very pleased to see people she knows.
We would like to find her a home where she can now retire in peace with maybe just one small neutered male or ideally no other pets.
Tequila is fully house trained. Travels well and walks nicely on a lead.
She is still full of beans and is quite a character. She absolutely adores cuddles and snuggling up.
Tequila can be a little bit wary of strangers but give her a few minutes to warm to you and you then have a friend.
A secure garden with no broken or holy fences is a must.
Any children in the home need to be older preferably.
We would ideally like to see Tequlia go to a home where she is not going to be left all day. I
f you think you can give this little girl her final forever home please contact Wallace Kennels - she is in Essex so you would need to be prepared to travel to CM15.
