Bonded pair of Spaniels - 6 and 4 years old, spayed, fully vaccinated including kennel cough, microchipped and up to date with flea and worming treatments.

Mia (mum) red collar has been with me almost 3 years. A beautiful, loving and needy girl. We believe she’s around 6 years old. Spayed and vaccinations including kennel cough all renewed June.  I believe Mia is cocker spaniel. So very loving and intuitive, a real lap dog that loves cuddles but will also do anything for food and a tennis ball. Loves fetch more than anything.

Maddie (daughter) purple collar as above, is possibly aged 4.  We believe she has some vision disturbance but it doesn’t impact her. She fussed too much at the vet so we tried a sedation, didn’t effect her at all, so testing was inconclusive. She too loves tennis balls and cuddles. A fussy eater if everything’s not calm. She loves her treats but wet food is her thing.

They live/breathe/eat together but Mia will always steel Maddies food so human intervention needed or Mia will eat in their crate. Maddie doesn’t like the crate but will go in with Mia if needed.

I have always fed them breakfast 6am/6pm and its half a wet pouch (gravy) and top up with Harringtons lamb kibble (1-2 scoops). I can bring food etc with me.

Neither like metal bowls, china or plastic for food and water.

They love their rope toys and Maddie has a plastic box she takes everywhere.

They’re great on leads and car travel, but Mia will bark at other dogs, harmless, but protective of humans and daughter.

They really would suit retired couples looking for companions. Fetch in the garden rather than mega long walks. They’ve been fine with all family members including young children, but do like to jump up to greet. Zero spacial awareness or personal space.

They are toilet trained but Mia will bark for both of them to go out.

They both arrived with one cauliflower ear each, Mias healed to about 80% very early on. Maddies was worse and still can be easily felt but no issues with it for either of them.

They’re both excellent with grooming at home, tendency for matts behind ears and front paws/shoulders but a weekly brush or comb is all thats needed.

Neither likes water, a light shower in the winter to deal with muddy paws is all thats needed. Very clean girls and just the most rewarding pets.

Haven’t come across cats so don’t know. They both love to watch our bunny, wouldn’t risk without a barrier between them. Mia always barks at our neighbours jack russell, but as soon as we let her in, they all play.

Mias recall is awful so no off lead. Maddie you could probably walk without a lead as she won’t leave your side (hence we think vision).

A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.
