This lovely girl really does not deserve to still be in kennels - we need to get her into a home so that her treatment plan can continue.

Maddie is 7 years old, recently spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

Her temperament is superb especially with women but she is very wary of men and will sometimes, not always, uncontrollably shake and try to avoid them. However, once Maddie has bonded with you she will happily sit, give paw and is a really gentle girl, fully house trained, travels well and super friendly with all dogs she has so far met.

We would like to keep her within travelling distance of our vets either at Blackmore, Writtle or Billericay as they have recommended that she needs to go back to them in around 8 weeks or so for a mammary strip (we cover that cost). We would very much like to get her settled in her new home before this takes place especially as she is still recovering from her spay op - all details will be discussed at any meeting.

We have no doubt at all that Maddie will be absolutely fine around children 5+ but cats untested and unknown, dogs good.

We are however seeking a calm, quiet home with a Lady owner(s)preferably but Maddie will certainly let us know if she likes a male partner and someone who is not generally out of the house for more than a few hours per day.

Contact Wallace Kennels - she is in Essex.

An application form is required in the first instance but do not apply if you are going away in the next few weeks.
