Chinese Crested x Chihuahua, 1 1/2 years old, now neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and looking for a new home.

He has never been socialised with anyone other than his previous female owner so is going to need lots of TLC and a calm fairly quiet home. Once he feels safe and not trapped he is very loving and affectionate but he does need time to bond. He totally freaked out getting in to vets but once he trusted his nurse (which only took minutes) was an absolute treasure.

He was extremely randy (hence the name) and although he may benefit from living with another dog of similar size - spayed or neutered he will still be a bit of a pest so bear this in mind if applying.

He is not really house trained, a bit of a work in progress, has never been on a lead, another work in progress and up until coming here and going to and from the vets he had never been in a vehicle so another work in progress.

He has lived with multiple dogs (see above) and there were cats in the home but he has not been around children so we would not be placing him with any children younger than 8 at this stage - he needs calm and quiet.

A secure garden with no holes or gaps is a definite must.

Ideally his new owner needs to either work from home or not be out for more than a few hours.

If you think you are right home and can help give Romeo what he needs contact Wallace Kennels - he is in Essex.

An application form is required in the first instance but do not apply if you are going away or not around in the next few weeks.
