JOHNNY

small Whippet/Collie x.   He is under 2 years old we believe.  Johnny has been neutered, is fully vaccinated and microchipped.

He is very sweet but also slightly nervous hence the deer in headlights look.  He needs time and patience.  Once he has got to know you he just wants fuss and cuddles - there has been no malice shown however he will give a grumble growl purely because he is not sure.  He play nips but needs to be taught this is not a good idea as he can forget the stop button - never drawn blood.

He may need a bit of a house training refresher.  Has been fine around other dogs but cats and small furries are a no.  He travels well if he can see you.

Once he settles in you will see a scatty playful boy but he is going to need some TLC and reassurance that the big wide world is not totally scary.

Any children will need to be a good 10+

We would like to see Johnny go to a home where he is not going to be left all day as he needs people.  He needs a calm understanding home that will give him the time to build up confidence and learn to trust that not all humans are bad.

A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.
