9 long months HUDSON has been with us and in that time he has only had 3 visitors - they loved him, wished they could take him but was not the right dog for them for whatever reason.
HUDSON is 3 years old - Dutch Herder (GSD type of dog), neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with flea and worming treatments. He will go to his new home with 4 weeks free Petplan insurance and lots of goodies to start him off with.
He is an absolutely super nice lad, extremely people friendly and with the right people will be fantastic addition to the home.
He is fully house trained. He does know and understand some commands and is a very clever boy. He will sit and wait until told to come, takes treats extremely gently and will give paw amongst other things.
Hudson is very strong but many of our female volunteers are able to take him out without issue as he does stop pulling after a few minutes in to his walk (see video).
Although strong he walks really nicely on the lead, is well mannered and he travels well.
Hudson will need to go to a home as the only dog for now and work on a friend for him at a later date as he is very hit and miss with and around other dogs.
Cats and small furries are unknown and untested but this is very likely to be a no.
Any children in the home need to be 6+ and used to being around bigger dogs.
A secure garden with minimum of 6ft fencing is required.
We would ideally like to see Hudson go to a home with someone experienced around the larger type dogs and one where he is not going to be left for a stupid amount of hours by himself.

The dog is in Essex so you would need to be prepared to travel to the CM15 area.
