11 months old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His veterinary paperwork says he is a Perro de Presa Canario.
He is large, "Mastiff type" and not really suitable for a first time owner. He is ok with men outside of the home but not that keen on men in the home so we think he may be better in a female only home or just with a single male. Knowledge and experience with either this breed or large breeds is a must and also doing your homework on this type of dog would be advantageous. He still has growing and filling out to do but is already a strong lad. He is generally happy go lucky, walks really well on the lead although will pull occasionally. He is house trained, travels well in the car. He did live with another large dog without problems but that dog was in the home when he arrived as a pup so as always, careful introductions would be required and he would not be placed with another male dog.
Harley needs to be in a dog savvy adult home only plus he needs a home where he is not left for more than a few hours so do not apply if you are out at work all day every day. Secure garden is also a must as is an owner able to handle a large strong dog.
