We Need Homes
Established as a family-run concern in the 1970s, Wallace Kennels Dog Rescue have been working hard to protect and care for vulnerable, abandoned or unfortunate dogs in the Essex area for over four decades.
With your help we continue to offer shelter to hundreds of dogs each year, matching them with loving homes willing to offer new and exciting lives, lived securely in safety and in comfort at last.
We are well-known for the outstanding care we take of our residents while they are with us, and while we hope their stay will be a short one, we do our very best to make sure their stay in kennels is the best it can be.
All the dogs are exercised and socialised regularly, and we take pride in making sure the right dog is matched with the right home.
We do hope you like our site and can spare a few minutes to browse some of our other pages, visit the Wallace Store, or perhaps even make a small donation to help with the work we do, every little helps and goes a long way.
Alternatively please visit our social media sites, where the newer dogs in are posted, or share our pages using the handy links provided.
Thank you for looking and hope to see you soon.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us on 01277 821032.

All design, photography, digital materials, promotions and development are volunteered.

Please share our dog pages and print our Quick List.
We wouldn’t be here without you, we need your help to “Spread The Woof about Wallace!” If you would like to display all of the dogs in need of homes on a notice board, you can download our single-page A4 Quick List pdf for printing.
You can also share dog pages using the icons provided. Facebook will include the perfect preview image, but other social media sites might need you to add a photo, to help make the post stand-out.
Each dog has plenty of photos on their page, but for best results we recommend downloading and using their square 500x500px face photos.
